Rooted in the rythms of nature

What I Do

I’m a one-woman small business creating handmade goods from primarily repurposed materials. Each piece carries a story, thoughtfully reworked from past textiles into something new and lasting. My work is one-of-a-kind, small batch, made with care and packaged thoughtfully for its journey to you.

I design shirts, sweatshirts, and hats, along with upcycled cyanotype pieces—wearable art created through sun-printing techniques. I also make home goods like wall hangings, tea towels, and coasters. Everything I create blends sustainability, craftsmanship, and a spirit of everyday adventure.

The Artist Behind CrestBorn

I grew up in Port Angeles, Washington—a charming little city tucked between the ocean and the mountains. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with the outdoors without even trying.

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I took every art class I could and basically lived in the art room. Most days I even spending lunch there, it was my second home. That passion stuck with me all the way through college, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing adventure outdoors. The first day of a multi-day backpacking trip feels like Christmas morning… though I’ll admit, nothing quite compares to finally seeing the car again after miles on the trail.

I also LOVE to bake—bread, cookies, anything. If it can go in the oven, I want to try making it.

I’m also a huge romance book lover— ACOTAR, Lights Out, Credence, … if you’re obsessed with these too lets start a book club!
