What I Do
I’m a one woman small business creating handmade, one of a kind goods from primarily repurposed and reclaimed materials. Every piece begins with pre loved textiles and is thoughtfully transformed into something new, wearable, and made to last.
My work focuses on sustainable fashion, upcycled clothing, and wearable art. I create handmade jackets, vests, shirts, sweatshirts, and shorts, along with original linocut prints and cyanotype pieces made using traditional sun-printing techniques.
Each item is produced in small batches or as a unique design, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. From sourcing materials to designing, sewing, printing, packaging, and shipping, every step is completed with care and attention to detail.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, slow fashion, and creative self expression. I believe in giving forgotten materials a second life while creating distinctive pieces that inspire everyday adventure.
The Artist Behind Crestborn
I grew up in Port Angeles, Washington a charming little city tucked between the ocean and the mountains. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with the outdoors without even trying.
Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I took every art class I could and basically lived in the art room. Most days I even spending lunch there, it was my second home. That passion stuck with me all the way through college, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing adventure outdoors. The first day of a multi day backpacking trip feels like Christmas morning… though I’ll admit, nothing quite compares to finally seeing the car again after miles on the trail.
I also LOVE to bake bread, cookies, anything really. If it can go in the oven, I want to try making it.
